Alison McGill is an award-winning editor, writer, creative producer and media personality. Since 2002 she has been the Editor-in-Chief of Weddingbells (in 2017 her role was expanded to include Editorial Director of Weddingbells' sister publication Mariage Quebec). Alison is a passionate media producer with years of industry experience working across multiple platforms — print, digital, television, radio and social media.
Alison’s past publishing experience includes being the Editor-in-Chief of Salon Magazine (1999 to 2001) and Fashion18 (2005 to 2006, while also maintaining the EIC position at Weddingbells). Not only is Alison a talented writer and editor, but excels in creative production. Fashion, beauty and lifestyle photoshoots are her focus and passion and Alison has worked with Canada’s top creative talent to produce impactful, award-winning, of-the-moment visual content. Alison loves the creative process and having fun creating dynamic and captivating imagery.
